NRF to be reviewed in LinkedIn Live event

InternetRetailing

The National Retail Federation’s Big Show kicks off on Saturday 13 January 2024, with events held across New York. The expo, which brings together more than 40,000 delegates from 6,200 retail and ecommerce brands, will be discussed at length in a brand new LinkedIn Live event.

The Post NRF 2024 Briefing will see InternetRetailing’s, editor-in-chief, Ian Jindal joined by Michel Koch, head of France at greyhairworks!, to provide an on-the-ground summary of the event for both retailers and suppliers alike.

Jindal and Koch will be pounding the pavements and expo halls, conferences and interview rooms from 13 – 16 January. They will then sit down on 24 January at 2pm GMT to review the highlights in a LinkedIn Live conversation.

The pair will discuss the state-of-the-art products and technology on show, covering what’s ‘wow’, incremental and ‘meh’. They will also look at the industry’s direction of travel and key topics of debate.

Furthermore, the briefing will cover Jindal’s store research, sharing his “wow” moments and championing the stores that transcend everyday excellence.

“New York is a global capital for retail, where high investment meets higher expectations and the highest level of service,” noted Jindal.

“Global brands may have several stores in the city, each tailored to the local clientele and competitors, while others are experimenting, announcing their arrival or setting new expectations.

“I visited over 170 stores in November to check out the on-the-ground experience, and from that there’s the top10 “wow” places that change store standards, 21 that are evergreen classics and another 50 worth checking out while in their vicinity. I will share the what/where/why, along with a map and write-up in the conversational LiveStream, conducted with my co-traveller, French eCommerce leader Michel Koch”.

Registration for the briefing is open now here.
