PAYMENT 2010 is the “5. Kongress für Zahlsysteme und Forderungsmanagement”, i.e. a conference on payment systems and reminder management, to be held in Frankfurt / Main. From May 18th to 20th attendees have the opportunity to exchange opinions with experts and users about the latest trends in the payment and reminder market.
Micropayments are becoming more popular, and in the U.S. micropayments revenues amount to more than 2 billion U.S. dollars, according to a Reuters estimate. Simultaneously SEPA helps generate a unified European payment market. The downside of the on-going financial crisis, hoewever, is the decling readiness of shoppers to pay in time or at all. Therefore online retailers take recourse to reminder and collection management in order to get their money. These topics will certainly play a role at the conference.
The first day is dedicated to a seminar on national and international reminder and collection management. may 19th offers the conference proper, featuring keynotes and two forums on payment systems and reminder management. The last day features a series of workshops with two workshops each dedicated to a) payment systems and cashflow optimization, as well as b) SEPA and e-commerce success.
