Wines and spirits retailer Pernod Ricard UK has awarded a six-year warehousing and logistics contract to Wincanton.
The contract renewal includes warehousing in an HMRC-approved bonded site and transport solutions for key UK customer deliveries. The companies have been working together since 1999.
Michael Taylor, operations director at Pernod Ricard UK, said: “After a long tender process, we are pleased our long-term partner Wincanton offered us the best solution for professional, cost-effective and innovative warehousing and logistics services, which is something we continually evaluate to ensure efficiency for us and our customers”.
Liam McElroy, managing director retail and consumer Consumer at Wincanton, said: “Having worked with the company for a significant period of time now, we were keen to demonstrate how we could add further value for Pernod Ricard UK.”
