Poundland has extended its home delivery trial, opening it up to around 1.8 million members of the public.
The retailer first launched online home delivery in February, with a 2,000 line product range available for 18,000 staff and selected guests to be able to order from. The service was initially launched from the company’s new online fulfilment centre in Cannock which was previously a Poundland store.
Customers in a range of postcodes in Birmingham and Walsall can now join the home delivery trial and the range of products has been extended to 2,500 lines. Prices are the same as instore but delivery costs £4.
Customers outside of the trial area can still set up an online account and register their interest in home deliveries with Poundland.
