Fast fashion retailer Quiz, a Top100 trader in IRUK Top500 research, has put digital centrestage in its Westfield Stratford City store.
The refurbished 2,400 sq ft shop includes an in-store digital kiosk where shoppers can browse and order the full collection online, either for home delivery or to collect from a branch. Staff in the store are equipped with iPads so they can advise customers on the wider range, order in a different size or arrange for home delivery or in-store pick up.
Social media has been brought into the store through a scatter wall that showcases social media content, campaign videos and photography from Quiz photoshoots.
“Just like our clothes, this store is designed to stand out,” said Omar Aziz, retail operations director at QUIZ. “Our products are designed to make women feel glamorous, so we want our store experience to reflect this by making our customers feel special and to leave them with a lasting impression.
“Social is huge for us so we are delighted to be able to incorporate this into our physical stores via the scatter wall. By bringing the latest technology in store, we can showcase our wider offering and bring the QUIZ brand to life.”
The reopened store comes after a financial year in which Quiz, which trades through more than 220 UK and Republic of Ireland outlets and 47 international stores in 20 countries as well as online, has reported revenues of £87.4m in the year to March 31 2016, up from £78.2m at the same time last year. It has also moved up from being an IRUK Top150 company to a Top100 retailer. During the year it invested in expanding its store estate, both in the UK and internationally, and invested £3m in a warehouse in Scotland to support further growth. It now trades in more than 20 countries around the world.
