Sainsbury’s is the latest supermarket to team up with rapid delivery firm Just Eat to offer a choice of 3,000 items delivered in less than 30 minutes.

Launching in February, and covering 175 stores, the Just Eat partnership follows Sainsbury’s existing partnerships with Deliveroo and Uber Eats. It is also designed to compliment the supermarket’s own Chop Chop fast delivery service.

“Just Eat will offer another fast and convenient way for customers to get Sainsbury’s groceries delivered to their door,” explained Siobhan McMullan-Finnegan-Dehn, the director of e-commerce at Sainsbury’s.

“We are always on the lookout for more ways to make our customers’ lives easier and we look forward to working with Just Eat.”

In December, Just Eat announced its latest tie in with convenience store Co-op. It also works with Asda, Londis, Budgens and One Stop, which sees 60% of UK household able to use the service.
