StreetScooter GmbH has confirmed the building of a second manufacturing facility which will located in Düren and be capable of producing up to 10,000 e-vehicles per year. The site, which will be 78,000 sq m in size, is due to go live in the second quarter of 2018.
The new factory complements an existing site in Aachen and will allow the company to reach its stated target of up to 20,000 e-vehicles a year.

We will therefore continue to focus on e-mobility and other alternative drive concepts to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
