WatchShop.com to time new X Factor auditions

Love it or hate it, X Factor will be returning to our screens soon. Auditions are starting in London this weekend, and ecommerce company WatchShop.com has bagged some timely PR, providing wristwatches for the TalkBack Thames production team. The aim is to ensure all auditions are timed to perfection.

The British online watch retailer is supplying the X Factor production team with Casio Retro Chronograph watches to enable the production team to log their filmed footage of the hopeful contenders for editing purposes, before the final cuts air later in 2011.

“We were contacted by TalkBack Thames and were glad to supply the watches,” said Director of WatchShop.com Kishore Naib. “We think it’s a great opportunity to assist the team as they develop this iconic series. They will need a sturdy and reliable digital watch and the Casio seemed to fit the bill.”

By providing the watches, WatchShop.com will appear on the X Factor Web pages, www.xfactor.itv.com.
