Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) platform Clearpay has partnered with a raft of retailers including Wilko, Mac, Jo Malone, Tom Ford and the parent company of Urban Outfitters, URBN to now offer flexible payments in-store.

The move follows successful customer uptake at its online checkouts, with recent data revealing BNPL was used in 14% of all online purchases in March 2023, due to the ongoing cost-of-living crisis and rising inflation.

This figure was up from 12% in January this year, the data stated.
