In today’s Internet Retailing newsletter we’re very excited about the upcoming Internet Retailing Expo (IRX 2015) and its new sister conference eDelivery Expo (EDX 2015). Some 7,000 visitors from the ecommerce and multichannel industry are expected at next week’s event, where they’ll get the chance to see the latest technology for themselves, hear directly from expert and leading retailers about the challenges and opportunities they are dealing with daily, and catch up on news and industry networking.
Among them will be our team of editors, and in today’s newsletter they’ve written about what they’ll be looking at when they attend IRX 2015. I’m particularly interested in the way digital is moving into stores: find out more what I’ll be looking at and listening in to in my piece here. Paul Skeldon, M-Retailing editor is focusing on all things mobile. Another significant group, of course, will be the more than 100 retailers who are speaking in the two events eight conferences. Find out what speakers from retailers from River Island to Wiggle will be looking out for here. And here we round up some of the exhibitors’ stories from the more than companies showcasing the latest technology and approaches at IRX.
We’re also reporting today on news elsewhere in the industry, from full-year results from Next and Ted Baker to Game’s new marketplace by way of news on this week’s Budget, while today’s guest comment is from Jeremy Vernon of Core Fullfillment, with advice for footwear manufacturers considering selling director.
