Quiz has become one of the first brands to work with The Very Group on a stockless fulfilment model.
Its occasion wear and casual clothing will be sold on the Very.co.uk website, with some orders shipped straight from Quiz to Very’s customers. This approach has the effect of increasing“significantly” the number of Quiz lines that are available from Very. Quiz previously supplied Very on a wholesale basis.
The move marks a relaunching and development of Quiz’ existing relationships with The Very Group, which Quiz says gives it a strong platform to raise brand awareness among a new group of customers. Working with Very, which sees 2.2m website visits a day from among its 4.8m customers, browsing a range of 2,000 brands across a range of categories, is part of Quiz’s strategy to work with third-party brands to boost awareness and customer numbers.
Sheraz Ramzan, chief commercial officer at Quiz, says: “We’re really pleased to announce the exciting development of Quiz’s strategic partnership with The Very Group. We’re delighted with the strong customer reaction to our presence on the Very platform to date and look forward to engaging with even more customers throughout 2022.”
Robbie Feather, managing director, retail, at The Very Group, says: “We want to offer our customers the greatest possible choice and flexibility. We know our customers love Quiz so we’re delighted to be able to expand our partnership and range using our flexible fulfilment model.”
Very first trialled stockless fulfilment – also known as drop shipping – in the autumn, working initially with Adidas and Reebok.
Quiz sells online, through 67 stores and 97 concessions in the UK and Ireland, as well as through international franchises and wholesale.
The Very Group turns over £2.3bn a year, and is one of the UK’s largest pureplay businesses. Very.co.uk is a Top50 retailer in RXUK Top500 research.
