For the first time, Amazon customers across the UK can get same day delivery of groceries featuring products from Amazon Fresh, Morrisons, Co-op, and Iceland.
There is also a new ‘Prime Member Deals’ programme, which will give Prime members savings including up to 50% off on groceries on Amazon Fresh. Prime members will also continue to have access to more delivery options, exclusive discounts, and free shipping, subject to minimum spend.
Ganesh Rao, vice president, Amazon Fresh International, said: “Today marks a milestone for us as we extend our grocery deliveries to all Amazon customers, and we are excited for more customers to benefit from our low prices, wide selection, and fast and reliable deliveries.
“We’re also offering even more savings for Prime members when they’re shopping from Amazon Fresh, giving them an additional 10% off Price Cut products in store, as well as access to Prime-exclusive deals online.”
Amazon was ranked Elite in the RetailX UK Top500 for the tenth year running. Amazon is the only retailer to have featured consistently in the Elite group for the full ten years of this UK Top500 research. Since then, its UK business has changed from pureplay to multichannel retailer, marketplace and brand, while maintaining the convenience that has underpinned its services over the years.
It particularly stands out in this year’s Elite for its performance in mobile, convenient collection and delivery, and for its use of recommendations.
