Amazon introduces label-free returns in US

DeliveryX

Amazon customers will be able to return products for free and without packaging to its US physical stores.
The service allows shoppers to obtain a QR code from the Amazon Return Center and then hand packages to store staff without a box or label. Staff will then pack and ship the return for free.

The service is available at Amazon’s own physical stores, including Amazon Books and Amazon 4-star. It is also offered at select Whole Foods Markets locations and 1150 Kohl’s locations, as well as nearly 5000 UPS stores.

“We understand that finding a box and tape and printing a label for a return can still be a hassle,” the company said in a statement. “Now, most Amazon returns are easier than ever with no box required.”

Amazon also offers free returns from its AmazonFresh Pickup and Amazon Hub Locker+ locations but need to use a box.
