Asos, Gear4Music and Burberry report on their international sales post-Brexit decision

While international sales have always been a good way to expand an ecommerce or multichannel business, the subject has gained new impetus following the decision in the EU Referendum to leave the UK. In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter we report as retailers from Asos to Gear4music and Burberry all show an immediate boost to sales as more shoppers buy in the wake of that decision.

But while this is one political decision that has had a short-term effect on sales, such effects can never be relied on. Instead, smart retailers are honing their strategies and developing scenarios to counter risks that may affect their business. But they’re also planning for long-term growth.
