On Thursday 13 October marketplace experts will come together in London to discuss the future of marketplace retail at ChannelX World, with one packed panel providing insights on what defines delivery success in 2022.
Steve Davies (COO, eve sleep), Zoe Donovan (Digital & Marketing Director, LK Bennett), and Hannah Lia (Operations Director, Hampers.com) will join ecommerce specialist Bobbie Ttooulis (Group Marketing Director, GFS – UK’s largest multi-carrier delivery and parcel management service) to share how they’ve defied conventions in delivery operations and address the questions on everyone’s minds.
The panel will cover protecting the customer delivery experience and creating disruption to break out of chaos. It will also look at sanitising unproductive operational patterns to reduce cost and complexity, as well asking what works better – course correction or contingency planning?
The retail experts will also consider what lies ahead ‘on the road’ for retail delivery operations.
This panel is just one must see discussion at ChannelX World which also features marketplace industry giants Amazon, eBay and TikTok providing a morning keynote, covering how both consumer buying habits and retail have changed. With the closing keynote coming from Tom Flintoff, head of marketplaces, international ecommerce at M&S.

Furthermore, RetailX’s latest research the European Marketplaces 2022 report will be presented, it is available to pre-register for now. The detailed report looks at the Top 15 marketplaces by traffic from Europe to assess their performance for RetailX’s Elite, Leading and Top 500 brands across three key dimensions:
- How each marketplace is used by brands
- How easy each is to be used by brands and third parties
- How easy these marketplaces are to use by consumers.
