Primark has rolled out its Click & Collect service to 113 of its UK stores, with the latest introduction of the collection technology launched before the key Christmas shopping period.
As well as increasing the number of stores which offer a collection service, Primark had previously increased the range of products available for Click & Collect. In September, the budget retailer announced menswear and homeware products would be introduced alongside women’s and kidswear.
Kari Rodgers, UK retail director at Primark, said: “We’re already seeing strong uptake for Click & Collect as we continue to roll-out the service nationwide, and we expect this demand to grow as we head into the busy festive shopping season. We hope our customers up and down the country find their shopping experiences just that little bit easier this year thanks to the added convenience our service brings.
“Now that Click & Collect is available at more than half of our British stores, we’re pleased to be offering shoppers more opportunities than ever to enjoy our great value, affordable fashion.”
Due to the positive response to Click & Collect, which was only introduce as a limited trial in the run up to Christmas 2022, the retail plans to bring the service to more customers.
Furthermore, as Primark celebrates 50 years on the UK high streets, there are plans to invest £100mn in its UK stores, creating 700 jobs as a result of new stores and extensions.
