Cocosa is looking to improve its performance in areas from customer communications to stock management with the use of a new analysis and reporting tool.

The luxury fashion private members website is using QlikView technology implemented by business intelligence specialists Tahola as it looks to give its managers faster access to the business information they need for efficient trading.

The QlikView tool will be used to analyse and report on data from sources including their ecommerce system, Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, customer email management provider and their CRM system. The system promises to give marketing and merchandising teams a view on sales, stock and customer data in order to respond quickly to customers’ needs.

Andrew Miles, head of operations at Cocosa, said: “An early win will see the development of an executive dashboard and over time we aim to achiev performance improvements right across the business – for example in customer targeting and response, merchandising and stock management.”

Simon Blackbourne, commercial director of Tahola, said: “Cocosa are a fast-growing business and in the rapidly-moving world of ecommerce it’s essential to have key business metrics to hand at all times to capitalize on every opportunity. QlikView’s ability to be implemented quickly and altered on the fly will give Andrew and his team the information they need to make these crucial decisions.”
