Debenhams Group, which now encompasses Debenhams, boohoo, boohooMAN, Karen Millen and PrettyLittleThing, aims to enhance its delivery service through a new partnership with parcel locker firm InPost.
The partnership will expand delivery options for customers across the UK, who will now benefit from access to InPost’s network of 10,000 lockers and 6,000 parcel shops nationwide. The move is part of the Debenhams goal to making online shopping more convenient and flexible, as it rolls out its successful marketplace model.
Shoppers can now choose delivery times and pick-up locations that suit their schedules, offering an alternative to traditional home delivery. InPost is now live as a primary delivery option on Debenhams-owned brands, including Dorothy Perkins, Coast and Warehouse, as well as on boohoo and Nasty Gal.
Dan Finley, chief executive officer of Debenhams Group, commented: “We know that customers are looking for more choice and convenience. Plans often change, so shoppers need flexible delivery options that can fit easily into their everyday lives and schedules.
“By adding InPost to our delivery options, we’re giving customers even more control over when and where they pick up their orders, making it even easier for them to access the brands they love across Debenhams Group.”
The collaboration reported that early results have been promising. Since launching at the end of May, thousands of customers have already selected it as their preferred delivery method, underscoring the growing demand for out-of-home delivery solutions.
Debenhams Group also plans to implement a next-day delivery option in the future. InPost will also be live across the Group’s other brands – boohooMAN, Karen Millen and PrettyLittleThing later this year.
In March, Boohoo rebranded as Debenhams Group with Finley declaring “Debenhams is back”. It has successfully turned around since it was acquired out of administration in 2021, and has been repositioned as an online department store.
