Dunelm signs iForce for multichannel logistics

Dunelm has moved its web fulfillment operation to the Midlands after signing a five-year deal with iForce. The homewares company now sees its online orders fulfilled from iForce’s Bromford Gate warehouse, part of work to improve its multichannel capabilities.


“The opening of our expanded web fulfilment centre in partnership with iForce represents a significant development in Dunelm’s multichannel business,” said Andy Torrance, chief operating officer of Dunelm. “Working alongside our same-day reserve and collect service in each of our 140 stores nationwide, the new warehouse will allow both new and existing customers to enjoy our renowned product choice, covering 20,000 homewares products, delivered to their homes at their convenience.”

Brian Gaunt, chief executive of iForce, said: “We are delighted to have secured Dunelm’s business. They have been one of the success stories of UK retailing over the last few years and I am delighted that they have chosen to partner with us having seen the quality of our other retail operations. I look forward to working together to extend the brand success they have achieved in their stores into multichannel retailing.”

Dunelm is currently building its multichannel sales. It operates 140 stores Dunelm Mill stores and trades online at www.dunelm.com.
