As Amazon introduces recyclable packaging featuring shock-absorbent, paper-based lining, the agenda of this October’s ChannelX World is putting a real focus on the circular practices of marketplaces.

A packed panel on the 09 October will look at effective strategies and challenges associated with closing the loop, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible.

The industry experts covering pre-loved and refurbished revenue streams are James Rigg, CEO of Trojan Electronics; Mark Monte-Colombo, head of refurbished & home improvement at eBay; Jemma Tadd, head of fashion at eBay; and Matt Hanrahan, co-founder of Reskinned.

Additionally, Amazon’s UK director of Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) and Global Selling – Marketplace, Stacey Van Den Aardweg will provide a plenary keynote.

The importance of omnichannel integration in Social DTC, including strategies for creating seamless customer journeys across social media platforms, websites, mobile apps, and physical stores, is also up for discussion during another busy session.

Glen Stocco, co-founder and managing director of Plane & Simple; Georgie Janion-Shaw, founder of Sistir and Novello Products and Marni Allen, CMO of Bioniq, will have a fireside chat, all moderated by James Hirst founder and director of the Intelligent Brief.

Stocco said: “Very much looking forward to our panel discussion and sharing views on how a specialist marketplace can be a key component of a retailer’s omnichannel strategy.”

These speakers will be joined by a host of others from the likes of Back Market, JD Sports, Kingfisher, Mountain Warehouse, Tesco, Sony Playstation, Sweaty Betty and many more.

The full agenda can be seen here.

Registration remains open! With Retail MediaX and SubscriptionX also returning as part of the Autumn Festival
