Ebay has named renowned fashion stylist and second-hand advocate, Amy Bannerman, as its new in-house pre-loved stylist.
Bannerman has over two decades’ worth of experience in buying and selling on the online marketplace.
The newly created role will see Bannerman style and source items for Ebay’s fashion campaigns. She will also lead on-site merchandising consultations and become a fashion spokesperson for the brand.
Bannerman has previously worked with the company to style Love Island contestants from its pre-loved range, which she will continue to do.

This comes as the online marketplace recently announced it will be the reality tv show’s main sponsor, for the second time, replacing fast fashion etailer I Saw It First.
Alongside the Love Island partnership, Bannerman “will play a key role” in the company’s partnership with Vogue’s ‘Forces For Change’, which celebrates sustainability, diversity and change-makers.
In her new position, she will also be working with British Vogue team to find pre-loved items on Ebay for upcoming activities, as well as offering tips on how to tap into trends through vintage and pre-loved via the online marketplace.
“I’m so happy to start this new role, it has been incredible working with Ebay to style the Islanders for the past couple of seasons and I’m so proud of how much we have already changed pre-loved perceptions,” Bannerman said.
“I’m excited to work even more closely with the eBay team to inspire a more conscious way of shopping.”
Bannerman held the position of fashion director at Cosmopolitan Magazine for five years. She joined the magazine in January 2016 from InStyle, where she worked as its fashion editor.
Ebay global general manager of fashion Kirsty Keoghan added: “We’re thrilled to officially welcome Amy into the eBay team, she has already been instrumental to Ebay’s impact in the pre-loved fashion movement, so we can’t wait to build on this relationship and see what further results we can achieve together.“
