In today’s final InternetRetailing newsletter of 2022, we’re looking back at the past year with a round up the effects that some key moments had on retail – and we’re looking ahead to what 2023 might hold with predictions from industry commentators. Today our double helping of predictions focus on how the way retailers serve customers will evolve in 2023, and on how they will use social media to reach them

We’re reporting as eBay works with Pinterest content creators for the first time to reach shoppers with an interest in making their own decorations ahead of Christmas. Meanwhile, Asos has struck a new partnership with Fashion Minority Report as it aims to ensure that its leadership becomes more diverse over coming years.

In today’s guest comment, Sanjay Manchanda of Chargebee considers potential retail strategies around subscriptions.

This newsletter marks the end of InternetRetailing’s 2022 coverage of the UK’s ecommerce and multichannel retailing sector. We’ll be back on January 5 with our first newsletter of 2023. In the meantime, we send seasonal greetings and look forward to returning next year.
