Combining online and offline: from ScS to The Cotswold Company and IRC 2016
In today's InternetRetailing newsletter we're reporting as retailers from ScS to The Cotswold Company demonstrate how online and offline are moving ever-closer together.

We have news of ScS as it reported a 19.8% boost to ecommerce sales in its latest financial year. It says that while the store remains vital, online is becoming ever more important and it is investing to improve its website, boosting ecommerce sales at the same time.

Meanwhile, The Cotswold Company has a new owner that has plans for offline expansion, including a rollout of showrooms.

That ties in with a timely preview of IRC 2016: today we focus on Track 3, Transform, which brings together a diversity of retailers and suppliers to consider ways of bringing together the store and digital.

There's also news from Mastercard of selfie-deploying payment technology, while we also report on Demandware's change of name to Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Today's guest comment comes from Dan Cohen of Tradedoubler, who considers how digital marketers can keep their advertising relevant.
