Moss Bros, Boohoo, ScS and now Aldi: gaining the multichannel advantage
In today's Internet Retailing newsletter, we report on the strong financial progress being made by IRUK500 retailers from Moss Bros to Boohoo.com and ScS. All are reporting impressive online growth, even, in the case of ScS, where shoppers clearly prefer to research online and buy in the store. No surprise, then, that Aldi this week announced it too is to start selling online next year. It's clear that the multichannel advantage is available to all retailers who make the decision to add the digital channel to their physical stores.

Today we also report on MySale as it updates the market on its plans to be a leading UK online flash sales operator, while our guest comment comes from Joe Ballard of Hybris, who considers the webification of the high street.
