The first Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) to take place in Asia opens its doors next week.
More than 575 people, including more than 340 retailers, are already registered to attend the first edition of IRX Indonesia, which runs on January 19 and 20 at the Pullman Jakarta Central Park.
The trade conference and exhibition features more than 40 speakers including Roy Mandey, chairman of APRINDO, the Indonesian Retail Merchants Association, Hadi Wenas, chief executive of MatahariMall.com, Tony Suryadi, associate manager for group ecommerce at Mothercare and ELC – Kanmo Retail Group, Stephen Pang, head of ecommerce SEA at Levi Strauss Malaysia, and Andrew Senduck, chief executive of Moxy Indonesia.
More than 30 solution providers will be showcasing their technologies at the event, which also includes a pavilion dedicated to start-ups and a series of ecommerce clinics and workshops.
The themes of the Expo include insight and experience, retail delivery, digital sales and marketing, mobile in multichannel and retail logistics, multichannel merchandising and selling, and the omnichannel store of the future. Delegates will take part in a plenary session before the event divides into two streams.
Daylin Limonte, senior marketing manager at IRX organiser Clarion Events, said: “We are excited and looking forward to the first Asian IRX edition!”
