American footwear brand Steve Madden is set to open the doors to its new flagship store on Oxford Street, London.
The new 1,200 sq ft store has been designed to create a comfortable and immersive shopping environment for customers and will be Steve Madden’s second location in London and official flagship store since opening at Westfield Shopping Center in 2019.
The store will feature some of the company’s best-selling footwear for men and women and a selection of Steve Madden handbags.
According to the company, the flagship store is a “merger of the old and the new–featuring contemporary styles adorned with soft colours, rich textures, and elements such as wood, marble, and a lush moss wall with accents of gold metal–all purposefully done in true Steve Madden style.”
Steve Madden CEO Ed Rosenfeld said: “Opening a store on Oxford Street is an important moment in the growth of the Steve Madden brand worldwide.
“We are excited to be able to showcase the brand and engage with consumers from the UK and around the globe in one of the world’s most important shopping destinations.”
Founder and creative and design chief Steve Madden added: “Not many know that my first shoes were made in Hackney, so my fondness for London is boundless.
“To be on Oxford Street is incredible. I always say I want to see women worldwide in my shoes, and this is another milestone toward that goal.”
