Footasylum to open flagship store on Oxford Street

Footasylum has announced it will be opening the doors to its flagship store on London’s Oxford Street later this year, as part of its ambitious expansion programme.

The 20,000sq ft store will be situated at 73-89 Oxford Street and will span across two floors featuring click-and-collect lockers and additional customer service.

Although an exact launch date still set to be confirmed, the new flagship store will be the latest in a line of the retailers site openings.

Recently, the company announced it is upsizing a raft of its existing sites, including those in Westfield Stratford City, Leeds White Rose and Lakeside Shopping Centre, Essex.

It also unveiled plans to open a a 6,000 sq ft store in the Harlequin shopping centre in Watford in the Q3 this year.

According to the retailer, these new stores will be “significantly bigger in size and will provide a comprehensive mens, junior and womenswear offering.”

“Oxford Street is Europe’s busiest and best-known shopping street and, with Footasylum performing well, we’re hugely excited to have a flagship store at the heart of such an iconic retail destination,” Footasylum CEO Barry Bown said.

“Our aim is for our unique and extensive branded streetwear offering to be widely available across the UK, and having bigger and better stores is a key part of that ambition.

“The new store will offer Oxford Street visitors an incredible shopping experience and take the Footasylum brand to the next level. We can’t wait to open our doors later this year.”
