Germany has the most advanced logistics infrastructure for ecommerce in Europe, according to the Europe 2020 report from eDelivery sister titles RetailX and the Ecommerce Foundation.
The report looks at the overall ecommerce-readiness across a number of metrics of 34 European countries, including the EU 27 plus the UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Serbia and Norway.
Key parameters assessed include the ease of doing business, the level of internet access and the reliability of logistics and postal services.
The report also features in-depth interviews with local experts in each market.
