Ghost says its online sales have shot up after its website was redesigned.

The womenswear brand launched its new-look site at the beginning of this month and says sales rose by 137% in the last week alone.

The new site features pastel hues and romantic photography, and designed to reflect the aesthetic of Ghost’s recently refurbished King’s Road store. It also promises to be mobile-friendly, with features including image zoom, exclusive images and content including features from the team and from guest contributors on its Ghost Journal.

Touker Suleyman, chairman of Ghost and newly-appointed Dragon’s Den panellist, said: “The modern design direction for Ghost is continued seamlessly onto a website which caters for a new generation of customers. It is only fitting that such a luxurious and etherial clothing label, which has been reinvented for modern women, should have a sleek and attractively-designed home online.

“We are already seeing fantastic results from the website redesign, with a remarkable increase in visits and sales online. We look forward to making this a content-rich destination for Ghost fans around the world.”
