GLS has launched its FlexDeliveryService to the UK, meaning the company has now rolled out the service to 16 European countries – connecting them in all directions.
The FlexDeliveryService allows GLS to inform recipients of the planned delivery in advance and in the national language concerned. The shopper can then make delivery choices such as time and place of delivery.
The UK joins the likes of France, Spain and Denmark which have all been added to the network recently. GLS is planning to roll out the service to Bulgaria, Greece, Finland, Portugal, Switzerland and Italy shortly.
