Gymshark founder and CEO Ben Francis has been named one of the Worlds Youngest Billionaire.
As of 10 March 2023, the 30-year-old has a net worth of $1.2 billion (£960 million), according to Forbes.
Francis is one of the four self-made billionaires on the list, after founding the omnichannel retailer in 2023.
He joins the likes of Palmer Luckey, who sold his first startup, Oculus, to Facebook in 2014 for $2 billion (£1.6 billion).

This comes as the sportswear brand opened its flagship store in London last year.
The 18,000sq ft flagship is fully equipped with tech, which includes adjustable screens to mobile point of sale systems. The space also features a dedicated Joe & the Juice concession offering hot drinks, sandwiches, protein shakes alongside exclusive products.
Earlier this year, Francis was recognised with an MBE for services to the business sector in the King’s New Year’s Honours list.
At the time, Francis said in a Linkedin post: “I can’t believe it but I’ve been awarded the honour of an MBE.”
“This is probably the most surreal feeling I’ve had when being given an award. I’m so grateful to all those around me who support me in all that I do at Gymshark.”
