H&M opens logistics to third parties to scale up sustainability

DeliveryX

H&M is allowing other companies to access its logistics network as part of its sustainability push.
The new B2B initiative, called Treadler, will provide a range of services including product development, sourcing, production and logistics.

Treadler will start at a small scale, providing a tailored service for each client.

H&M did not specify in the initial release whom the primary target customer of Treadle is.

Gustaf Asp, MD of Treadler, said: “We see the opportunity to utilise the full potential of H&M Group’s extensive investments and progressive sustainability work by catering to clients’ needs and contributing to driving long-term growth for H&M Group, while driving change in our industry.

“In discussions with other companies, we have experienced a demand for these kinds of services.”
