Holland & Barrett adds new channel with Deliveroo partnership


Health products retailer Holland & Barrett has become the latest retailer to offer its products through Deliveroo.
A curated range of over 200 of the retailer’s best-selling products will be available through the Deliveroo app and website.

The service will offer delivery within 30 minutes from 40 stores across the UK.

Pawan Khorana, head of multichannel at Holland & Barrett, said: “These unprecedented times have seen more customers than ever before shop with us for their health products online. Deliveroo is an exciting new trial partnership for us – one that will make it even quicker and easier for customers to get some of our top selling lines during the lockdown.

“Delivery from stores will offer customers more choice and a speedy delivery service that has a lower impact on the environment.”

Ajay Lakhwani, VP of new business at Deliveroo said: “At Deliveroo, we are doing everything we can to make sure that people get the food they need and want during this unprecedented time. We are pleased to partner with Holland and Barrett and deliver a new range of healthy food and supplements to our customers.”

The retailer has made a number of changes to its logistics operation amidst the coronavirus pandemic, including adding new “pop-up” distribution centres and shipping from store.
