How good use of technology can add up to better retail performance

In today’s Internet Retailing newsletter, we have the latest facts and figures showing how development in the UK ecommerce and multichannel retail sector is adding up to improved performance.

We report on British Retail Consortium figures that appear to confirm a slowdown in August retail sales, both online and offline. But we also bring stories from retailers, including Staples and Oak Furniture Land who are using very different kinds of technology to make a difference. Our latest IRUK 500 research into the customer experience shows how other traders are also making their presence felt through optimising their websites to improve their performance.
