How retailers of all sizes are innovating to improve their online and multichannel service

In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter, we report on the latest innovations from IRUK500 retailers. Thus, we have news of Elite retailer House of Fraser as it hones its delivery offer in the light of customer research, and we report on Model retailer Ted Baker as new and improved websites help it to boost ecommerce sales by 63%, and we interview Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne of M&S, another Elite retailer, as he prepares to speak in the keynote slot at IRC2015. We think this is all worth reporting because it shows just what the top retailers do to succeed, and how others can learn from them.

We also report from smaller but innovative retailers, such as Amari Supercars which is using new wearable technology to give potential buyers of its luxury cars the lowdown on their stock in a way that saves the customer a journey – and potentially saves the sale for the retailer. Today we also have advice on complying with new consumer rights legislation and on what retailers can do to improve their own personalisation strategies in a guest comment from Paige O’Neill of SDL.
