HubBox builds click and collect plugin for Shopify

Retail technology provider HubBox has built a click and collect plugin for the Shopify ecommerce platform that will allow retailers using the platform to integrate click and collect into their checkout. The company already supports the click and collect solution for more than 30 partner retailers on Shopify including Yoga Rebel and Lazy Oaf.
The system is run via a low flat monthly fee and per parcel cost model with ongoing technical support also available. “Until now the cost of development and the fact that most click and collect services are tied to specific couriers has inhibited widespread uptake,” said Sam Jarvis, CEO and founder of HubBox. However he said the new plug-in means no changes to fulfilment and the ability to implement click and collect in minutes rather than weeks.

HubBox CCO Greg Beszant said it offered great opportunities for independent retailers. “It’s incredibly exciting to now be able to offer our services to virtually any retailer in the UK. This is an important step in reducing time to value for independent retailers, who don’t want to wait months to see the effect that adding click and collect as a delivery option can have”.

HubBox already provides direct click and collect integrations for brands including Jack Wills and Warehouse.
