Luxury fashion rental service Hurr has partnered with Deliveroo, enabling customers in Central London to have partywear delivered in as little as 20-minutes.
This latest partnership will be the rapid delivery firm’s first moves into the fashion sector, having launched Deliveroo Shopping last November. The last-mile company currently works with the likes of Boots, The Perfume Shop, Ann Summers, Not on the High Street and Wilko, as well as a host of supermarkets.
For Hurr, the collaboration fits into its wider sustainable fashion efforts. This new fast delivery offering makes the rental service “as convenient as possible”.
Lauren Roberts, COO at Hurr, said: “Built around a “Dress to Door in 20 minutes” concept, the partnership will allow us to take the friction out of those last minute “eek I have nothing to wear” moments, and bring a truly innovative offering to both customer bases.
“It’s also been an absolute pleasure to peak behind the curtain at the Deliveroo machine. Despite being a “grownup organisation” the speed, agility and creativity they have injected into this project is something most start-ups would aspire to.”
This service is currently available for over 50 dresses from luxury brands such as 16 Arlington, Santa Brands, Self-Portrait, Nadine Merabi, and Rixo.
While Deliveroo will manage the delivery of these items, returns will remain in the consumer’s hand with traditional postal services.
