The annual – and much coveted – Internet Retailing Awards, this year sponsored by Venda , are looking for nominations for this year’s gala dinner to rival the Oscars on 26 June. This year, the awards feature a new category dedicated to mobile retailing, along with honours for innovation, omni-channel, IRIS, customer experience, capability to deliver, international business and global business. There are also special judges awards and the overall Internet Retailing Award to hanker after.
The M-Retailing Award will go to the retailer whose mobile activities extend beyond an obligatory app and tablet-optimised site to creating an integrated, coherent and compelling experience under their brand – via the mobile, for a customer ‘on the move’, whether at home, on a bus or in-store.
There is also plenty of scope for those of you of a mobile bent to also get entries into the Omni-channel, IRIS (Instore), customer and capability categories too.
Our judging panel is drawn from the leading professionals in InternetRetailing and include, Peter Fitzgerald, Country Sales Director, Google UK ; Tanya Lawler, Vice President, UK Trading at eBay ; Simon Forster, Multichannel Director at Selfridges ; Siobhán Géhin, Associate Partner at Kurt Salmon [irx isle]; Eric Abensur, CEO, Venda ; David Walmsley, Director of Multichannel Development at Marks & Spencer ; Alison Lancaster, CMO at Kiddicare, Marketing Director, Online Non Food at Wm Morrison Supermarkets ; and Andy Harding
