WorldPay payments capability is to be integrated into Intershop’s latest ecommerce platform.
As a result of the partnership, Intershop7 users will be able to offer their overseas customers their preferred payment choices through the WorldPay portfolio of more than 200 alternative payment types. WorldPay also uses tokenisation functionality and operates across touchpoints from online to mobile.
“This integration places emphasis on the importance of the availability of preferred payment types, which many other platforms do not consider, to enable merchants to operate ecommerce globally through a single interface,” said Shane Happach, chief commercial officer at WorldPay’s ecommerce division.
