Ahead of this year’s InternetRetailing Expo (IRX 2017) and eDelivery Expo (EDX 2017), we’re looking ahead to some of the technologies that will be on show at the event. Here are some of the highlights.
Visitors to the Akamai Technologies stand will be able to watch via virtual reality headsets as a simulated cyber attack takes place in what the technology company promises will be a fully immersive experience.
Product recommendation specialist Bunting will be sharing its white paper, The Quick-Fix Guide: The five most dangerous product recommendation mistakes that hit large retailers at IRX. It also promises to transform visitors’ websites live at an IRX workshop where the company’s chief executive Stephen Tucker will be sharing insights into critical mistakes that many big retailers make with personalisation and product recommendations.
Papier-Mettler will showcase the production process for its sustainable mailing bags, showing how they go from recycled material to final product.
Shopware is teaming up with co-exhibitors CB Squared, One Creations, Pickware, Open Reply and CoreFinity the latest version of its ecommerce platform, Shopware 5.2. It says the new features of this platform enable online shop owners to create more emotional shopping experiences for customers more easily. It’s the second time the company has exhibited at IRX. “This is a great opportunity for us to connect with UK customers, partners and industry experts,” said Wiljo Krechting, spokesman for Shopware. “Since Shopware is ambitiously approaching internationalisation, IRX provides a great platform for achieving our goals.”
OrderWise will be bringing its transportable warehouse to IRX to show off the capabilities of its barcode-scanning Mobile Warehouse Management Devices and of its OrderWise for Android app. It says its technology can streamline everyday warehouse processes and connect businesses to their data on the move.
Volo Commerce will be launching updated connectors with leading marketplaces from Europe and the US, while Netmatter will launch its cloud-based integration platform Mothercloud, designed to enable retailers to synchronise and connect data between accounting systems, ERP software, ecommerce platforms and shipping services. Magnolia is showcasing its white paper on personalisation, How to create personalized web experiences, and holding a workshop on real omnichannel where
Rasmus Skjoldan, lead product manager of Magnolia, will explore the ways businesses like MOO and Tesco create omnichannel experiences.
Competitor Monitor, which tracks prices for 20 million+ products across 15,000 websites, will be launching its Internet Retailing/Competitor Monitoring The E-commerce Managers Handbook. To see its technology in action visit it at stand D43.
Yotpo is releasing Data Labs by Yotpo, an interactive benchmarking tool that it says shows the data and ROI behind user-generated content like reviews and photos. It is also hosting a workshop on using user reviews and photos to market webstores.
VL will demonstrate its new omnichannel data integration customer dashboard, the VL Omni Dashboard, which it says gives customers a near real-time view of data movements while also helping them to understand important business analytics and statistics.
Automated Packaging Systems is bringing the latest version of its AirPouch FastWrap IRX. Visitors to its stand can see demos of the inflate-on-demand protective packaging material.
