The John Lewis Partnership has launched a recruitment drive ahead of the golden quarter, with over 10,000 jobs being created.
Across Waitrose, the company is set to recruit over 2,800 seasonal roles across its 329 shops, including supermarket assistants, night shift, and customer delivery drivers.
Meanwhile, 2,900 temporary roles in sales and merchandising positions will be created across John Lewis.

The company also announced it is recruiting 2,700 seasonal roles in its supply chain through the recruitment agencies it works with. These roles include warehouse operatives and drivers to deliver customers a seamless digital experience on its websites and click-and-collect orders.
Alongside the seasonal positions, the omnichannel retailer revealed a further 1,700 positions will be available across both Waitrose and John Lewis in a variety of roles over the coming months.
According to the retailer, the recruitment drive is part of its “commitment to delivering exceptional service, no matter when, where, or how our customers prefer to shop with us.”
