In today’s InternetRetailing newsletter, we report on how IRUK Top 500 retailers are developing their ecommerce and multichannel strategies. John Lewis is reporting a Cyber Monday lift to its business in the run up to Christmas, while Ocado has a 15% boost to sales to report, and Mulberry says ecommerce grew by 20%.

Today we also report new IMRG figures that suggest 45% of ecommerce sales took place over mobile in the third quarter of this year, and on the launch of the innovative Desi High Street, a marketplace for ethnic food, clothing and gifts.

Today’s guest comment comes from Mike McMurray of Point Inside who explains why data is just as important in-store as online.
