Joseph Joseph has a new website. The kitchenware retailer’s site has been developed as it looks to take its brand into new international markets.

“We needed a site that would become the font of all knowledge for our products and brand, that would develop in line with our ambitious growth plans and help us to achieve penetration into various global markets,” said Mike Warwick, head of online at Joseph Joseph. “In addition to this, we wanted to be able to proactively respond to customer interactions and site activity ourselves, rather than accessing through an external source. On top of all of this, we needed a cost-effective system that would give us a site that reflected our brand ethos.”

The new site was built on the Magento platform by ecommerce specialist Tryzens.

“The core out-of-the-box functionality suited our needs perfectly and has ensured that our site is flexible, with an open back-end and intuitive integration options,” said Warwick. “With the Magento platform, we can localise storefronts for different countries, bringing the website in-line with our international ambitions. Additionally, Tryzens’ in-house design team have worked closely with our own experts to develop a website that really captures the appeal of our brand. Our new site not only suits our expanding business goals, but is also much more in-line with our ongoing branding activities.”

Tryzens will monitor the new site on a two-year contract, ensuring continuous maintenance along with steady ecommerce growth.

Paul Green, business development manager at Tryzens, said: “Joseph Joseph came to us with specific changes they wanted to make to their ecommerce platform. By working closely with the founders and design team we were able to provide them with an offering that suited their current needs and future expansion plans. The website has been transformed, both in design and from a back-office perspective. We look forward to our relationship continuing to grow, as Joseph Joseph’s business continues to expand worldwide.”
