An Internet Retailing JumpStart event designed to give online retailers the lowdown on payments and fraud solutions will be held in central London on Thursday 11 February from 8:30am until 1:30pm.
More than £49 billion was spent online in the UK in 2009, but as online sales continue to grow so to do the opportunities for fraud. Payments are at the very heart of ecommerce, and this event will outline the very best and most effective methods to allow your customers to transact online while offering advice and best practice around fraud prevention.
Internet Retailing’s JumpStart events are short, punchy seminars designed to give internet retailers a chance to get up to speed with the latest issues and supplier offers in key procurement areas.
The intense half-day format will give you insight, briefing and a chance to meet with other retailers. It will give you either a fast-track to create your own commercial procurement process, or even allow you to benchmark your existing or intended supplier against the market’s best offerings.
Speakers at JumpStart: Payments and Fraud include Paul Simms from The 3rd Man and Howard Bell of Barclaycard as well as representatives from Claranet, Cybersource, Optimal Payments and Sage Pay.
The event, which is free to attend, is designed for — and open to — senior executives at online and multichannel retailers only. Places are limited, so it is advisable to register early.
