Laura Ashley today reported an autumnal boost to its ecommerce sales of more than a fifth, thanks to expansion in m-commerce and overseas.
The fashion retailer said ecommerce sales grew by 22.6% in the 19 weeks to December 8, as total retail sales increased by 4.2% and like-for-like sales by 4.9%.
“The introduction of a mobile site that offers the complete range of our products, and increased overseas deliveries, have both been instrumental in this growth,” the company said in today’s interim management statement.
