DPD UK took the Innovation in Delivery Award and eBay Fashion Outlet was recognised for the Best ecommerce marketing initiative. Prezzybox.com was named the ISIS small retailer of the year, Aurora Fashions’ Oasis was recognised for the Best ecommerce payment innovation, and Loving Outdoors was named the Best Start-up Company. The Best Smartphone Application came from Ocado.

Judging of the awards is run by etail trade body the IMRG and judges are drawn from the IMRG membership. This year they included representatives of Debenhams, Google, MetaPack, Hitwise, Topman.com and eDigital Research.

An IMRG spokesperson said: “We would like to congratulate all the winners on their fantastic performance over the past year and the great things tht they have achieved for the industry. The quality of some of the individual submissions produced a clear winner at times, while in other categories it was very difficult to determine an outright winner; a clear indication of the strength and diversity of current online retailers.”
