MatchesFashion.com is to introduce 90-minute multichannel deliveries for customers within the M25 – and says the ultra convenient service marks a milestone for the luxury retail industry.

From Monday, customers buying from the luxury fashion retailer for delivery within the M25 will be able to opt for the fast delivery option, or nominate a one-hour delivery slot of their choice, whether they are shopping online or in the store.

MatchesFashion.com is working with On the dot, part of same-day distribution company CitySprint, to offer convenient delivery options.

“This is a revolutionary moment for luxury retail, bringing the industry into the ‘buy now, wear now’ era,” said MatchesFashion.com chief executive Ulric Jerome. “Customers will be able to order from their mobile phones at breakfast and have a new outfit ready to wear for their first meeting of the day. It will transform the customer experience.’’

Delivery will be available for luxury fashion products from over 400 established and emerging designers.

Patrick Gallagher, chief executive of On the dot said: “Our technology helps retailers transform customers’ experiences and offer shoppers a delivery service tailored to their needs. As a luxury fashion brand, MatchesFashion.com prides itself on being able to give customers the very best when it comes to products and service – and we don’t think fulfilment should be any different. We are looking forward to working with MatchesFashion.com to give their customers the delivery options that are most convenient to them.”
