Missguided is extending its collection services as it works to make it easier for shoppers to pick up and drop off their orders and returns. That increases the convenience with which the retailer, which has only a handful of physical locations itself, can serve shoppers.

The retailer has extended its partnership with CollectPlus, to enable shoppers to use its click and collect service, picking up orders from any of the 5,800 convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets and petrol stations in its network, at a cost of £1.99 for next-day delivery when ordered by 6pm.

Shoppers can already return their online purchases to any store in the network.

Missguided has also signed up to extend its service from Doddle , which offers another kind collection location. Missguided customers will be able to collect their orders next day from over 50 Doddle stores at train stations, universities and shopping centres across the UK. Part of the changes include making returns to Missguided free, previously £1.95.

Commenting on the CollectPlus deal, Brett Young, operations director at Missguided said: “It is fundamental to our business strategy that we ensure our customers receive market-leading options together with a high level of service for a very reasonable price.

“With this in mind the Click & Collect options, along with improved returns channels, were imperative to our customer experience. By using proven, forward-thinking partners such as CollectPlus it enables us to build on new initiatives, continually improve our customer experience and in turn support our aggressive growth strategy.”
