Mobile Fun has expanded its UK warehouse and distribution centre by a quarter in response to increasing international sales.

In the last 18 months Mobile Fun has launched new websites in Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and the US, adding to sites in the UK, France and Germany.

Operations director Ruel Taylor said: “International orders currently make up 30 per cent of our total revenue and this is growing every month, especially following the successful launch of our new websites across Europe and the US.

“As a result of continually increasing demand from customers worldwide, our existing warehouse simply wasn’t large enough to handle all of the orders we are now processing. Our reputation for offering the largest range of mobile accessories is extending beyond the UK and Europe, so we’ve created additional space to help us fulfil growing international orders quickly.”

The extended warehouse will also ensure Mobile Fun is prepared for the upcoming Christmas period. Last December, Mobile Fun hit sales of over £1.1m, passing the million pound turnover milestone for the first time.

The company is predicting a strong boost to order numbers from October onwards, thanks in part to the launch of new products including the iPhone 5, Galaxy S3 and Nexus phones.
