A new online loyalty site has launched that rewards shoppers with points – and rewards – when they buy from retailers including John Lewis, House of Fraser and Boots.

epoints rewards its members with points when they go through the site to buy from any of the 2,000 retailers currently affiliated with the site.

epoints is the latest launch from Instant Access Technologies, which recently launched marketing and content platform bigDL with the aim of giving consumers a personalised view of their local high street, showing them new products and deals tailored to their individual interests.

Matt Norbury, IAT chief executive and founder, said epoints could provide an affordable alternative loyalty scheme for retailers.

“The cost of setting up a dedicated loyalty scheme can exceed hundreds of thousands of pounds and this is prohibitive for many retailers,” he said. “epoints allows retailers of all sizes to be part of a loyalty programme which benefits from the extensive insights and information we are able to provide about their customers’ purchasing behaviour. When applied across all channels, epoints can provide a single view of customer so hot on the agenda of retailers.”
